work work

This First Friday I will be doing my first pseudo craft fair. Instead of having an art opening Metro Gallery is doing a craft fair of local crafty people. Catherine and I (Hurry&Leaf and The Clasp Of Isis) were one of the chosen vendors. I have been working my butt off ever since coming back from NYC to make sure that we have enough merchandise. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited.
Ryan (of Maisonwares) has told me that it's a very good idea to have an item that is under $10 when doing a show, that way people are less likely to walk away from the table empty handed. I've been trying to make small decently priced things that are still true to my aesthetic. It's not easy since I feel that most things I make are worth more then ten bucks but I'm sure I can knock out some earrings and rings that I can price a lot lower.
Anyway I made a bunch of stuff tonight, and plan on making a lot more tomorrow. I've been playing with the idea of two finger rings. Here's one of the results.

2-25-10

Jessie and I traveled to NYC for a few days. All in all an amazing trip. I scored this amazing gold and rhinestones leopard belt buckle that will soon be an amazing statement piece as well as a bag bursting with treasures from the lovely Rachel via Bart (pix of both to come).
For now here's some pix of Jessie and I partying it up wearing The Clasp Of Isis Jewelry
